This is the before and after shots of a house I worked on at  owned by an Eric Skinner and his partner.  The client did the gutter removal so he could replace some of the fascia boards that were ruined by the old half round gutters.

This is an interesting old brick house with a clay tile roof. They wanted to replace the old half round rusty steel gutters with nice sturdy copper gutters that work.

Here is a more current photo I got in April of 2015 showing the tarnished copper.

This shows the preparation of the new gutters in my shop, and the set-up on my work station I do for milling the downspout parts.

They needed some minor flashing work as well to replace some rusty steel flashing that was missed by the roofer who installed the tile roof.

If you look closely you can see the mildew
stains down the bricks from the old gutters.

This shows the special mitered end cap option I did for this job.

This shows the old and the new with the proper funnel I use to join 2 DS into 1 DS, so it is much less likely to clog.

Again, here is a more current view of this house front door area with the tarnished copper gutters after 7 years, where the gutters are pretty much black looking.

260' of standard 16oz copper gutters & downspouts - $3,140
13 corners and end-caps to miter - $650
Hard install DS mount over the bricks - $138
9 leaf-catchers - $495
4.98 sq' of copper flashing - $124.50
36' of fascia work - $54
30' of storm drain pipe - $138

$4,739.50 total

Stolen Downspouts:
I had not heard of this happening in the past, but a couple months after installation they had one downspout yanked off the front left corner late at night by some crack-head on foot. They happen to live on the corner of a busy high traffic road, so their exposure was a lot higher than most houses. We waited a while before replacing it to see if that thief was going to return to steal more copper off their house, but after a few months the Client felt confident having us replace the missing downspout with copper again. This Client contacted me to replaced that downspout on June/08 for just $88.

A few years later (9/09) I was called back to replace a short downspout section near the Side entry and a Leaf-catcher in back. I added more screws to many of the other downspout pipe cleats as well doubling the holding strength where the downspout could be reached. This time the cost was $124. Since then they have not had any more trouble (4/15).
