16oz
I only have 20oz copper gutter coil in stock, which I buy in bulk, so I could not get the thinner 16oz copper locally at a better price. Since there would be no advantage I do not offer that lower quality alternative. Yet, that thinner 16oz copper is the only thing you would get from any other gutter contractor willing to offer copper gutters.

Note: Since there has been so little demand for thicker 20oz copper by other Gutter Contractors in the Great Northwest, I have to special order it from an out of State company. Our local suppliers only stock standard 16oz copper, which is thinner than the thinnest aluminum gutter coil, and less than 20oz copper DMR Gutters installs. That thinner copper is too frail and no stronger than aluminum gutters. It only seems logical that any Clients who is willing to pay extra for copper gutters are looking for better than standard, so that would be contradictive to offer a gutter with a thinner metal than basic aluminum gutters, where the 20oz copper is the same thickness as the 0.027" aluminum gutter coil, therefore noticably stronger. Any thicker and it would not be able to go throuigh a gutter roll-forming machine, as this 20oz copper just barely is able to pass through.
$28 *
20oz
For my exclusive heavy duty 20oz copper gutters hung w/solid 48oz copper hidden hangers (not brass) placed 2' apart w/pair of #12 stainless steel screws in each hanger, which is 8X Building Code strength attachment. The downspouts may still be just 16oz copper, since that is all I have access to locally. I have ordered 20oz copper downspouts through an East Coast supplier, but supplies are limited.

$24 20oz

For the DIY Enthusiast: heavy duty 20oz copper gutters lengths formed, but not assembled or installed. Comes with heavy duty solid 48 ounce copper hidden hangers for every 2' of gutter w/a pair of #12 stainless steel screws for each hanger.

(See our Local Gutter Parts Delivery web page for more details, installation instructions, and recommended tool list)

Note:
I feel these screens are too expensive, so I recommend the same screens I use for aluminum gutters instead to be more practical, which are only $3 Ln')

+ $45

For our exclusive heavy duty 20oz copper 2X3 Leaf-Catchers installed in new downspouts (for underground storm drain pipe protection)

2X sized No-Clog outlets using a 3"x4" elbow and a 3X4 to 2X 3 reducer into our new downspout installation.

List of Additional Charges for Common Preparation

+ $1 * It's very rare to remove copper gutters (this cost is discounted with your gutter replacement order, since the recycle value is so high)
$2 * Steel gutter removal (disposal is free if old gutter parts are already down and cut up into 9.5 foot sections to fit within our 10' trailer).
$2.50 * Plastic or wood gutter removal and disposal (to help cover the dump fee).
$1.75* Aluminum gutter removal (this is less than steel removal, since the recycle value covers some cost: $0.25 per pound, or $0.10 per foot. Less for downspouts)
$2.00 for rafter tail attachment, which is a hard install issue, because of alignment and the longer screws we need to use.
$1 to $4 +

for hard installation issues like: second story gutters, steep pitch roofs, wood, metal, or tile roofs, and brick, stone, or stucco siding DSP attachment.

$90 *

+ $45

extra labor to miter 90 degree inside and outside corners, mitered end-caps, and split gutter expansion joints (needed for lengths over 40 feet)

for odd angles as needed (other than the common 90 degree corners).

$14 * for 1.5”x 3.5” 20oz copper drip edge with a safety hem installed. Can be custom formed to match your needs with different width stock. (aluminum is also a suitable metal for less than half the cost)

Copper & Brass Rain Chain/Cups (or funnels)

These are an attractive alternatives to a standard closed downspout pipe. Being a gravity feed system you'll need a basin below to catch this water and channel it away from your house foundation. It is best to remove the end-cap from the gutter and bend the floor of the gutter down to direct the water into the top of the rain-cups. This helps prevent debris from forming a blockage over the outlet. I use a 1/4" stainless steel eye hook to support the weight of these that may become caked with ice in the Winter.

Most of these also come in sets of 3 funnels per foot without the chain links between them (as seen above). The economy sets with the links are very fragile, since those links are just hollow copper tubing and may come apart when caked with ice in the winter. The non-loop sets can be spread out with solid 4 ga. copper wire loops for much greater strength and variable size loops.

Here is the price sheet and gutter chart to print out and use to calculate what this would run.
Even if you are not local, you could use it to compare other bids you get to see if they were honest.
I have made it quite simple here to draft out your gutter project.
